It was one of the highlights of my vacating in your beautiful city. What a way to experience the views!
Looking forward to riding with you again… hopefully in the not to distant future.

Shawn promised at most 5 Km’s of suburban tar & at least 30 Km’s of country – meaning gravel roads & single track. In the city of Cape Town!
I was un- prepared for the ride having no bicycle, cleats, helmet, gloves, but Wayne kindly lent me his small frame 26 incher & the cleat pedals were replaced with flat pedals in a matter of minutes by the super- organized mechanically – minded, tour guide, Shawn Benjamin…
The farm smells of horses, hay & manure was the first sign that we were actually in a rural place. With the city only minutes away this cycle route is special and made more so by the ease of access- no gates, no permits, no congestion.
The ride is a healthy mix of smooth – rolling single track, hectic gnarly gravel, short sharp ascents with roots to negotiate & easy, uncomplicated downhill. If you’re in it for some extreme redline heart rate adrenaline stuff then there is that too on the slopes.
From tarred Constantia suburbs to Table Mountain fynbos & beyond in 30 minutes on a bike is a brilliant experience, – up there with the likes of other famous off- road cycling routes like the IMANA Wild ride on the wild coast, Sani to sea, Berg & Bush, Isimangaliso & the Manali to Leh Himalayan ride, all of which I have enjoyed in my youth.
Shawn is an accomplished rider & professional Photographer – a brilliant combination for your mountain ride, Facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat posts.
He is a considerate guide, & wont take off like an adrenaline junkie in pursuit of his next fix, however if that’s what you want he can deliver that too.
A great morning out on stunning country track, with a highly recommended guide, thanks Shawn, I’ll be back – next time with a bike and 5 hours to spare.

Very busy weeks after returning from CT!
Still having very pleasant memories of the entire week. Your movie says it all and all of us wanted to take the first plane back to S.A when seeing it. The week was rated with an average of 9,5 out of 10 and ends on the first place of all other 17 (!) trips we made with this group. So thanks very much for the organization for you and of course your team.
Your pictures will be used for the annual memory book and I will certainly send you one once we have it.
Once again thanks for the perfect week and hopefully in future we will be able to ask you again for a trip somewhere in SA!
Regards for the whole team

I, and as I hear from the other boys it is we, had a great time with you and your colleagues from mtbsouthafrica.co.za. I thoroughly enjoyed all the rides and the different areas we went through. The catering was great with a good timing between riding and rest and a good match of the different stages. Above all I was impressed by the support by your group, besides yourself you have some very nice guides, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and above all despite all the horror stories I never really felt unsafe!!
Thanks to you all I experienced a top holiday!!
I really consider to come back in the near future with some friends as I would like to make the Stellebosch-Port Elisabeth ride.
I hope we will meet again.
Thanks again to all of you,
All the best
